The nest opens in two parts and then you lower the two upper cushions down into place to form the upper part of the sleeper. You can't feel that split between the two sections when you roll in the middle. I insist everybody try to feel it when they come to visit my store. The Nest is the Lightest because you open each side one at a time, but it has more steps. But it's such that with the pillow in that little area, when you lift up you don't really touch that top. Because you are already not at the top of your pillow and you come up at an angle.
