A sleeper sofa is one of the most mechanically complex pieces of furniture in your home. It folds, unfolds, supports weight in multiple positions, and gets used by guests who may not always be as careful as you are. The Guardsman Gold Complete Plus plan covers not just surface stains but the mechanical components that make your furniture work.

What the plan covers

  • Household stains bleach, cosmetics, crayon, glue, grass, grease, ink, lotion, marker, mud, oil, tar and more.
  • Food & beverage stains cheese sauce, chocolate, gum, ice cream, juice, ketchup, mayonnaise, mustard, pizza, popcorn, soda, wine.
  • Human & pet biological stains blood, saliva, urine, and vomit on fabric, leather, vinyl, and wood.
  • Accidental damage to fabric, leather & vinyl cigarette burns, punctures, cuts, rips, tears, separated seams, cracking and peeling, zipper and button breakage.
  • Accidental damage to wood & hard surfaces breakage, bubbling, burns, chips, cracking, gouges, heat marks, liquid rings, scratches on wood, finish checking.
  • Pet damage teeth marks and claw tears, one incident per item.
  • Sleeper-specific coverage springs, frames, mechanisms, motors, levers, and power cords used for sleeper, reclining, and inclining applications.

Blot stains with a clean, dry cloth immediately, then stop. Do not attempt further cleaning until Guardsman gives you specific instructions. Both steps protect your claim.

Act fast. You must call within 30 days of when the stain or damage occurred.

To request service call 877.584.4653. Have your receipt and plan number ready.

Your plan documents arrive by mail within 2 to 3 weeks of delivery. If you have not received them after 30 days, contact us and we will assist you.

Exclusions: Accumulation of stains, soil build-up over time, perspiration, hair and body oils, and surface scratches on leather are not covered.
